Course Narrative: SPAN 306, Culture/Civilization of Span Latin American contributes to my fulfillment of MLO 3 This course presents a historical and cultural overview of Hispanic Latin America from its pre-Columbian origins to the present day, through works of literature, art, music, and videos. From this class, I acquired specific knowledge of several countries within Latin America that contributed to their growth and development. I learned that the fraternal nations of Latin America share several characteristics in their history, their customs, language, and their people. We looked closely into Mesoamerican civilizations; the Aztecs, the Incas, and the Mayans. In this class I and other classmates had a presentation about the country of Mexico where we talked about important facts such as the Mexican Revolution. In this course I learned a lot about Latin American countries and civilizations, so in the future I would like to take a similar class that covers more in-depth topics or that I can learn more in detail about a Latin American country. span306-méxico-revolución.pdf
